What Time Will Warhammer III's Immortal Empires Release Tomorrow?

Total War: Warhammer III players have been waiting a long time to get their hands on the Immortal Empires campaign - the combined campaign map including factions from all three games rolled into one.

This is finally due to release tomorrow, August 23rd. Here's everything you need to know about the update, and when it will be going live.

What Time Will Immortal Empires be Available?

The Immortal Empires DLC, along with the Blood for the Blood God and Champions of Chaos DLCs and the base game update, should become available for players at 15:00 GMT on August 23rd.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like players will have the ability to preload the update, so those who aren't fortunate enough to have fast internet may have to wait quite a bit longer, as it seems rather unlikely that this will be a small update in terms of the file size.

How Can I Access Immortal Empires?

The Immortal Empires Beta should be available for all players who own all three instalments of Total War: Warhammer. You also need to own them all on the same platform for the game to be able to recognize that you own them all and grant access accordingly.

The benefits of any DLC for previous games that you own, including race packs, lord packs and the blood packs will also be added to your Immortal Empires campaign. If you don't own a particular DLC, then the associated factions will generally be in the game but will not be playable and might be missing some features.

What Else is Coming to Warhammer III?

Alongside the Immortal Empires Beta, the Champions of Chaos DLC will also be available, adding four new Legendary Lords to the Warriors of Chaos race:

  • Valkia the Bloody
  • Festus the Leechlord
  • Azazel, Prince of Damnation
  • Vilitch the Curseling

The Blood for the Blood God DLC will be available, adding blood effects to the battles. It's a little bit strange that this is sold seperately in a game that prominently features the hordes of Khorne the Blood God, but alas. If you already purchased this DLC in Warhammer or Warhammer II, then you should get access to it for free in Warhammer III.

Finally, there will be a base game update that will slightly expand the Realms of Chaos campaign to make room for the new Legendary Lords, rebalances and reworks the races and units from the old games, improves the UI, and makes some stability improvements.
