What is Plasteel in Darktide?
When playing Warhammer 40K: Darktide, you are likely to pick up something called Plasteel when playing through the various levels in the game. But what exactly is Plasteel for?
In short, it's a crafting ingredient that you can save up to create and improve items for your character.

On top of Plasteel, you will also earn the rarer Diamantine upon completing a level. The amount of Diamantine you get will be dependent on the difficulty; the higher the difficulty, the more Diamantine you will receive.

When performing some crafting tasks such as upgrading a weapon, you will need both Plasteel and Diamantine.
You can access the crafting options by visiting Hadron Omega 7-7 at the Shrine of the Omnissiah in the Lobby - turn right just before you reach Sire Melk's Requisitorium, and you will find the shrine a little down the corridor, to your left.
