The first Disney Lorcana cards for their new trading card game developed by Ravensburger have been revealed.
First impressions count and it looks like Disney and Ravensburger nailed it. The Disney Lorcana cards that we see here all look very beautiful and thought through. The characters have very unique designs and have high quality images.
The cards are well structured and easy to read. The abilities of the different character cards are easy to understand and don't have any unnecessary filler text in them. At the bottom they also have some extra lore about the card. Same thing here, less is more.
Mickey Mouse was the first card that the official Lorcana Twitter account showcased.

Elsa the Snow Queen
Recreated by magical ink, Elsa found herself in an unfamiliar new world. Fortunately, ice works the same way everywhere. She is also tagged with Dreamborn, Hero, Queen and Sorcerer.
Elsa has a resource cost of 3, attack power of 2 and a defense rating of 3. Her special ability is FREEZE: Exert chosen opposing character.
Maleficent, Monstrous Dragon
The ninth rule of Villainy: When all else fails, turn into a dragon. Maleficent is another card that was revealed during the D23 expo. He is tagged with Storyborn, Villain and Dragon.
Maleficent, Monstrous Dragon has a resource cost of 9, attack power of 7 and a defense rating of 5. His ability is called DRAGON FIRE: When you play this character, you may banish chosen opposing character.
Stitch, Rock Star
The best part about a beachside concert is that there is always room for one more. Stitch, Rock Star is another trading card that was revealed. Stitch is also tagged with Floodborn, Hero and Alien.
Stitch, Rock Star has a resource cost of 6, attack power of 3 and a defense rating of 5. His ability is called ADORING FANS: Whenever you play a character with cost 2 or less, you may exert it to draw a card.
He also has another ability/passive called SHIFT: 4 (You may pay 4* to play this on top of one of your Stitch characters.)
Robin Hood, Unrivaled Archer
We never rob. We just sort of borrow a bit from those wo can afford it. Robin Hood, Unrivaled Archer has a resource cost of 6, attack power of 4 and a defense raiting of 4. He has the tags Storyborn and Hero.
Robin Hood has two abilities, FEED THE POOR: When you play this character, if an opponent has more cards in their hand than you, draw a card. GOOD SHOT: During your turn, this character has Evasive. (They can challenge characters with Evasive.)
Captain Hook, Forceful Duelist
He loves to make light of a foe's predicament. Captain Hook, Forceful Duelist has a resource cost of only 1, attack power of 1 and a defense rating of 2. He has the tags Dreamborn, Villain, Pirate and Captain. Captain Hook's ability is CHALLENGER: +2 /When challenging, this character gets +2.)
Mickey Mouse, Brave Little Tailor
When defeat looms and victory hangs by a thread, a hero bolts to the rescue, patching things up through shear determination.
Mickey Mouse, Brave Little Tailor has a resource cost of 8, attack power of 5 and a defense raiting of 5. He is tagged with Dreamborn and Hero. He doesn't have an own ability, just a passive called Evasive: Only characters with Evasive can challenge this character.
Cruella De Vil, Miserable As Usual
When she stops by, misery is company. Cruella De Vil has a resource cost of 2, attack power of 1 and a defense rating of 3. She is tagged with Storyborn and Villain. Her attack is called YOU'LL BE SORRY!: When this character is challenged and banished, you may return chosen character to their player's hand.
