How to Find the Grimoires and Scriptures in Excise Vault Spireside-13

This guide will show you how to find the Scriptures and Grimoires in the Excise Vault Spireside-13 mission in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.

Our Grimoire and Scripture guides are currently a Work in Progress. If you find a location that is missing from the guide, please let us know on our Discord, with a screenshot or short video of the location if possible.

Note that Scriptures and Grimoires have numerous possible spawn locations, and so tend to be in a different place each time you play the mission. This guide will show each possible location.

Grimoire Locations

Grimoire Location 1

During the objective "Locate Servitor Colony", you can find a corridor containing turnstiles, blocked off at the end by a pile of rubble. If you turn left before you reach the rubble, there is a small room that can contain the grimoire.

During the objective "Locate the Servitor Colony", After jumping down and turning left into the room with a sandy floor and metal pipes and supports going up to the roof. The grimoire is towards the back of this room, on the left.

During the objective "Proceed to Hangar Delta-175". You can find a Grimoire inside the locker room.

Scripture Locations

Scripture Location 1

Quite early in the level, during the "Locate the servitor colony" objective (before the cargo elevator area). You can find the scripture hidden underneath some stairs.

Scripture Location 2

During the "Realign the Cargo Elevator" objective. When you walk down the stairs before you enter the large room with the bridge that you need to activate, instead of going left, go into the small room on the right side.

Head into this room, go down the stairs and then turn right

Scripture Location 3

During the "Realign the Cargo Elevator" objective. In the room where you need to lower the bridge to continue, drop to the sandy area below and search around. You can find the Scripture here.

During the "Locate the Servitor Colony" objective. After you lowered the bridge in the big room, you enter an airlock and then go straight ahead. Turn left, and then left again into the small room. Look to the right side - the Scripture can spawn on the shelf.

Scripture Location 5

During the "Proceed to Hangar Delta-175" objective. Before you enter the large room where you need to open the two big doors to access the final area of the mission. Jump down then head straight ahead (you will then find yourself in the same spot as the first image below). Then head through the door near the corner of the room. The Scripture is on top of a crate on the right of the door, as you enter the room.

During the objective "Proceed to Hangar Delta-175". When you are advancing towards the hangar area with the big fall on your left, you can find a Scripture hidden behind the large metal container outside the hangar.

Scripture Location 7

During the objective "Access Excise Vault HL-32-2-791". In the large hangar where you have to open the two big doors to proceed, before you jump down to the lower level, cross to the far side of the room, using the upper platform that runs around the outside of the room. The Scripture can spawn underneath a window.
