We Finally Have an Update on the Baldur's Gate 3 Release Date
After a long time in early access, Baldur's Gate 3 now has a planned full release month.

Since finishing up work on the highly acclaimed Divinity: Original Sin 2, Larian Studios have been busy working on their next big game - Baldur's Gate 3. BG3 has been in available on Steam Early Access for more than two years now, with the first part of the story being playable and some character origins and skills implemented, with more gradually being added in periodic updates.

However in spite of the regular updates to the game, one thing that has eluded fans until now is a concrete release date for the full game. Today we almost got just that.
Larian haven't committed to an exact date, but they did announce that Baldur's Gate will be coming in August 2023, meaning that players only have about eight months to wait, assuming there are no delays.
Baldur's Gate 3 builds on the gameplay elements that players loved in Divinity: Original Sin 2, with in depth character origins and intricate turn-based combat, but also combines it with some classic tabletop RPG style elements, such as dice rolls for various mechanics.

It certainly seems as though the developers took their time and did not rush through the early access phase to get a full product out as quickly they could, so at the moment the prospects for a smooth release and a polished game are looking pretty good.
We hope you enjoyed this article about Baldur's Gate 3.
